Industry Veteran PG Bartlett Joins Acrolinx

Denver, Colorado – July 26, 2012 – Acrolinx announced today that PG Bartlett, who has spent nearly twenty years helping companies improve how they capture and share knowledge, has joined the company as SVP Product Management. In addition to his leadership of product management, Bartlett also oversees marketing.

Previously, Bartlett was SVP Product Management for Quark, where he led implementation of the company’s renewal strategy to become a leader in the dynamic publishing software market. Prior to Quark, Bartlett led product management for the Arbortext product line at PTC, a $1.2 billion provider of computer-aided design software that acquired Arbortext in 2005. Before the acquisition, Bartlett served on Arbortext’s executive team as head of product strategy, product management, and marketing.

“I’ve been an admirer of Acrolinx for years,” commented Bartlett. “At Arbortext, I was in on the birth of XML and its use in publishing software, which eliminated most of the manual effort of publishing. As I thought about the innovations that would follow, I believed that the next generation of content technologies would focus on the content itself. So when I first met the founders of Acrolinx, there it was! I’d found a company that had the technical genius to build natural language processing technology into applications for optimizing content, plus the business sense to capture a fantastic list of customers. I’m very happy to be part of the Acrolinx team.”

Acrolinx’s CEO, Markus Juhr-DeBenedetti, said, “When PG approached us about joining our team, we had just started to define an opening for someone like him. We’re very pleased that the timing worked out so well, and we’re honored that someone of PG’s stature recognized the opportunity that has drawn so many other employees, partners and customers. We expect PG will help us further accelerate our already strong growth.”
